Introduction

HOFE Initiatives bring together members of the European Chapter of the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame (HOFE) around emerging challenges and strategic priorities for the future of Adult Learning and Education.

Through collaborative reflection, dialogue and knowledge exchange, these initiatives aim to generate ideas, recommendations and shared perspectives capable of informing policy, practice and research at both European and international levels.

Current activities focus on the role of lifelong learning in addressing social, economic and technological transformations affecting Europe. In this context, particular attention is being devoted to the implications of the Draghi Report on the Future of European Competitiveness and to the contribution that Adult Learning and Education can make to strengthening innovation, inclusion, citizenship and sustainable development.

HOFE Initiatives are intended as open and evolving spaces for cooperation, bringing together the experience of Hall of Fame members and the perspectives of institutions, researchers and practitioners committed to the future of lifelong learning.
